La lectura académica en entornos virtuales. A propósito del aislamiento social preventivo y obligatorio (ASPO)

Reading and writing at the university level are skills that should be taught in higher education. Teaching these is responsibility of academic community, tasked with cultivating an appreciation for literary or written culture even most adverse conditions. In Argentina, during 2020, national government’s decree Preventive Obligatory Social Isolation (also known by its Spanish acronym, ASPO) meant faculty students had to adjust virtual multimodal environments. This put traditional practices — tethered physical paper test. And it forced community prove competence reading on a screen. The following article regards investigation act context. It was carried out National University La Matanza, institution focused social justice providing quality education, whose sizable student body mostly comes from working-class families. based non-probability surveys, analysed both quantitatively qualitatively, especially when situation called more thorough, specific study. Our results show differences between fields reveal some interesting benefits classrooms.
